Things That Gladden The Heart

Proud of eldest twin today. Sure she gives us the most grief but when it matters she does the right thing.

Woke us up to kick me out of bed as normal. Then this morning my wife has an asthma attack and she jumps out the bed goes get her pump for her and comes to wake me.

Little life saver

Rory. Gutsy first hole put him in poll position and he never let that go.
Classic Likely Lads situation after a Seniors comp today. Someone enters bar "What happened in the golf?"
My mate shouts "McIlroy after 3 hole playoff".
Chap entering score at the screen slaps his forehead and cries "Cheers guys, I only came in to enter my score before going home to watch it!"
🤣

🤣
He should have been quick enough to cover his ears shouting "La la la..."

Finally cleared the garage of all the Christmas and NY gift boxes and wrapping etc. It had been clogging up the garage and finally got around to taking all of it to the skip. Took me nearly an hour to load the car. Had to flatten all the boxes etc. Garage is ready to be filled with rubbish again.

Not entirely sure why the Mrs moans about such things. It is only March..

The other week I had curry for one whilst the girls were at rainbows. It was delightful. A real break from the world

Tonight I took my dad with me as It dawned on me he was available at that time. What a lovely short meal out

We then worked out we have never been for a ruby together. As mum never liked them

Guess I know what we can do more of as well as some 9 holes golf

He also wants to play a full 18 with me soon in honour of a friend of the family who passed who was like a dad to him and a grandad to me. Which will be great to see him on a course again.

Re your last sentence:
I know, how has it taken you this long? It's mid March! 😁

Lovely.
"Me and me Dad and me Mum and me Gran and a bucket of Vindaloo!"
La la la, la la...
🥵

My Grandson is going to see his friend fight in on if those posh dinner nights.
He has out grown his suit so we took him up to Glasgow to buy a new one.
He is tall and skinny so difficult to fit.
Neatest thing was a River Island suit at about £175.
He wasn't happy with the fit so we had to abandon the quest.
Driving home he suddenly said It's OK Papa I've sorted it.
He bought two suits on his Ebay type site for £30. One gray one blue.
They came yesterday and both are great fits and look brilliant.
