Try having a birthday early January

Mine is early December. Used to hate not having the must have toy/gadget/bike in the summer when I could actually get out and play with it and the wife now moans she has to think of double the amount of presents around Christmas.

I have a relative whose birthday is Xmas day.

I used to tell him that at least he never had to go to work on his birthday - now he's retired he doesn't even get that benefit

May birthdays have their downsides. I had a Physics A-level the day after my 18th and a University exam the day after my 21st. Very much no partying for me on the two wild birthdays of most peoples' youth .

Same for me. Buying my wife birthday and Christmas presents in the same month is an absolute nightmare!

August kills me every year!

Wedding anniversary, My sons birthday, daughters birthday, mums and mother in laws birthday all within 8 days of each other!! On top off buying the new years school uniform

Just had my flu jab. I've also had my shingles jabs earlier this year. It's great that we have these freely available to us.

Grandchild number 3 born this week. A boy. Mum and baby are doing well, and that's one of each for them.

I must finally be approaching some kind of maturity.
All I can focus on is the lift home from the station and the awaiting dinner.

How does that work? We won't get a COVID jab this year as the local health service doesn't consider it necessary.
