Our machine is not of the batch with the fault…no can do on the free repair front…besides - machine is obsolete so paying for a repair could cost getting on for £200…Most of the recalls you do not need to know where you bought it from you just need to check with the Manufacturer and they have list of the serial numbers that are affected.
Got my tumble drier replaced. The fault was with the filtering system and the fluff could make it's way to the heating element, it was all over the news and the consumer programmes at the time. Mainly Hotpoint, Creda and associated companies.
