The manufacturers were doing the swap over. We got a new hotpoint delivered to replace our 7 year old one that was on the recall list.
Ours is a Beko…I’ll contact their customer support as thinking on it now it doesn’t matter where I bought it and when…if the model was recalled due to fire risk then that’s it…

Ours recently stopped working, with a bit of an over-heating/burning smell. Did a quick check on-line and discovered that the model had been subject to a recall about 7yrs ago due to some going on fire. We are not going to bother trying to get it fixed - even if we could recall where we got it from. It was bought about ten yrs ago and life of such appliances seems to be about that these days 🙄
Most of the recalls you do not need to know where you bought it from you just need to check with the Manufacturer and they have list of the serial numbers that are affected.

Got my tumble drier replaced. The fault was with the filtering system and the fluff could make it's way to the heating element, it was all over the news and the consumer programmes at the time. Mainly Hotpoint, Creda and associated companies.

Home made chicken tikka masala with a few extra peppers. I didn’t quite get the naan breads right but, wow, what a cracking meal. Mrs H demolished hers, which was great to see after a really tough week for her.

I drink an energy drink called Tenzing... They have reduced the blackberry flavour I normally get to 50% off, plus the discount code I normally use for 40% off surprisingly worked as well. So I've just ordered 3 boxes (72 cans) for the measly cost of only £36.69. :ROFLMAO:
