Wonderful day

Left home 07:40

Swimming lessons first. Really impressed 4 lessons in the twins were swimming with a noodle away from the teacher. Considering their 3 that's pretty decent ..
.even more impressed with eldest. She did more swimming and made more progress today in 25 mins that last 6 months at everyone active. She will come on leaps and bounds now.

After that we headed to Chessington. Met up with friends of ours from bath as it's sort of middle ground. They have a girl same age as twins so all get along.

Lovely (but rainy in parts) day going on the little rides

Even managed to keep the twins awake all way home so can all go bed only slightly late

Much better than Legoland!

We had the Red Arrows go over twice yesterday.

Always good to see them.

There is regularly a Spitfire flying over our course on a Saturday afternoon.

If you can, try and see the Italians - they’re like the red arrows on speed and in my opinion so much better

About 18 months ago I posted on here that the wife and I had fallen pregnant with our 2nd child. Unfortunately that didnt go to plan and we miscarried, to add to this we had the same thing happen towards the end of last year too. 2 miscarriages in a year was pretty tough, though neither made it past 9 weeks.

In the wrong thread you are probably saying....... Well we are going for 3rd time lucky, but this time we have made it to 13 weeks. Due to the experiences last year, we had an early scan a few weeks ago and all was normal, today we had our first NHS scan and the baby is still wriggling away and again everything is as it should be at this stage. So, providing no hiccups, we will be a family of 4 in March next year.

I've got everything crossed for you. Best wishes from all the Colch family to you and yours and I really hope that this time you get the outcome that you deserve. 🤞

Seeing the older Colch jnr step up to the plate this evening when it was really necessary. He's normally a typical teenager, who stays in his room and doesn't care about what is going on around him, but this evening we had a situation where Mrs Colch, with her broken leg, ended up screaming and in in a lot of pain. Colch jnr came out of his room and ran down the stairs to check that Mrs Colch was OK and if he could help. He stayed with her while she made her way upstairs and comforted her while I sorted out the bedroom for her. Seeing his reaction tonight has made the fact I've got to go back offshore on Wednesday much easier as I know he can now step up and help if needed.

Seeing these little critters today. Hawksbill turtles that are a few hours old and hatched on the hotel’s beach this morning. They will be released back to the sea this evening when it is dark.
