One of my absolute favourites but my wife hates the smell of pork so I can't have it unless she is away for the weekend.Roast pork for dinner with lots of cracking

Cracking crackling
My Dad was expert at getting the crackling super crispy. My teeth can't take it these days plus I'm a bit squeamish about fat on food.
we have had this Conversation. FraggerTook a trip to a local animal sanctuary yesterday, came away with Basil (name to be changed when we can think of one).
He’s already taken over the sofa

What’s your cracking secret?
Tried a few online guides and it’s never quite there. Should we start a separate “best crackling” thread
Lads got crufts on the telly, you may ( or may not) want to get inspiration from some of the dogs names
Donna had this on ipad while we're watching the golf... she turned it off in disgust when the Bichon didn't get a prize!
Re crufts I mentioned to Missis T re if we had another dog. It was the overall winner of crufts breed that I wanted.
Unfortunately I think the dogs hairdresser like a lot of them on Crufts spent more time making them look “ nice” rather than natural. Basically the dogs name means water dog. They love water and have the coat/ hair that is ideal for that. They are very obedient and are the go to dog for sniffing out truffles and make their owners in Italy a good amount of money. I was seriously looking at getting one but well It never happened. Having a dog that did as it was told was a massive factor as against having a Bulldog that was a royal PITA who would only sit if a custard cream was under its nose. The only thing I didn't like was the fact you couldn't see its eyes...
