Thing is…their stuff just isn’t - you might not like it…but none of it is the worse song ever. Just isn’t.Everything by The Pet Shop Boys
Isn't that subjective. If I think their songs are the worst ever then who are you to tell me otherwise. You however are at will to think what you will about them.Thing is…their stuff just isn’t - you might not like it…but none of it is the worse song ever. Just isn’t.
I get that, but are you honestly saying you think stuff like the ‘Orville’ or ‘The Birdie Song’ is better than anything by The Pet Shop Boys. Maybe you are.Isn't that subjective. I find their songs a dirge, they are spoken rather than sung and over enhanced by techno trickery.
Now Clout’s Substitute is surely a bit of a classic of the time and musically it’s not so awful (though my judgement on that could well be clouded by my positive memories associated with period 1976-1979), but the Joy Sarney one…oh boy…yes it was a real stinker.Ah, wait a minute. This is worse than both the above.
They're all bad but the PSB earned rather a lot of money from they're rubbish tracks (can't even get myself to call them songs)I get that, but are you honestly saying you think stuff like the ‘Orville’ or ‘The Birdie Song’ is better than anything by The Pet Shop Boys. Maybe you are.
Even the one with Dusty Springfield?.…now that was pretty cool…IMO ?They're all bad but the PSB earned rather a lot of money from they're rubbish tracks (can't even get myself to call them songs)
Dusty was great but not sure why she wanted to hang out with them. Maybe it was late in her career.Even the one with Dusty Springfield?.…now that was pretty cool…IMO ?
