Happy Friday all!

I only get to play once a week and rarely get time any more to get to the range (my little one is 8 1/2 months old), I am itching to get out an play this weekend.

Didn't get to play last weekend so am hoping I can do myself justice on Sunday morning as a decent warm up for a society day on Wednesday.

Teeing off at 7:40 sunday morning at my course, the weather looks good so although early I think shorts will be donned. Then off to the Weald of Kent course for the society day on Wednesday.

Am so excited!! :clap::clap::clap::whoo::whoo::whoo:

What are you golfing plans this weekend?

A little knock @ Castle Coombe tomorrow morning, some short game practice straight after. Final OOM event next Sunday, so last little warm up for that.

Moor Allerton on Saturday with the North West gang, which should be a lot of fun. Looking forward to it, not played the course before but haven't played for nearly a month and the slice is back so see how I get on.

Then Sunday morning at Otley, love the course. Going round with a couple of mates and my uncle who's a member.

Kids going away and wife out so making the most of it.

Royal Dornoch for me, been on my hit list for longer than I can remember. :)

My first Bogey comp on Sunday. Does this count towards handicap?

As long as everything else qualifies, then yes.

You can pick up if you have lost/will lose the hole.

There's a formula to convert bogey scores to nett differential - which is what's used for handicap calc.

Playing Sunday morning, haven't played in over a wk where I shot my PB so expectations are high. No doubt I'm in for a shocker

Playing 12 holes on Saturday which will be my first time out with some new clubs and then got a full 18 at 8am on Sunday morning with about 9 of us so looking forward to that. Hoping that my quick runout on Saturday will help with the new clubs for sunday so I don't completely embarrass myself.

Match tomorrow and a team championship on Sunday and cant really be bothered with either as my game has just decided to leave me for the rest of the year! Lessons me thinks in the next few weeks.

I have what is likely to be my last comp of the year on Sunday. Haven't played competitively for a few weeks, although I played last Friday in a bounce game and played well. I managed to sneak up to the club for half a dozen holes this morning before work and I haven't completely forgotten how to swing it.

Hoping for one more cut before my season ends but no doubt reality will bite hard on Sunday morning. Never mind, I'm playing with a couple of good guys, so it'll be great, whatever happens.

Individual stableford at my home course (Cottrell Park), I will go in with the usual confidence of hitting it well in a midweek social round. Then walk off shaking my head, at a loss as to why I am completely garbage in comps.

Hoping to get out for my usual Sunday afternoon game if the weather holds up and my playing partner recovers from his hangover.
Been hammering the midweek golf recently, gonna really miss the late evening 9 or 18 holes dashes :(

I am really keen to get out in our Saturday school tomorrow for a round of golf. It's been a long hard week, and last night was the first time this week I've managed to hit some balls at the range.

Really hoping tomorrow is not a case of waited all week for it and then play crap.

Think positive Mav :)
