I normally lose a couple of balls a round but have been playing the same ProV1 for 3 rounds now without losing it....

I normally never change a ball till its lost (normally doesnt take this long) but the ball in question looks like its went 12 rounds with tyson.

So, how often would you change a prov1?? How long should they last??

They look tired after 9, but I will play 18 with the same ball. I will probably then use it for a quick 13 during the week, when I am not playing 'serious' golf. then it goes in the practice bag.

If I have kept it that long.

Like the guy I was playing a couple of weeks ago, walking up to the 18th tee - "I've had this ball all round, that doesn't happen often" - cue hook out of bounds!

Oh how we laughed :D ;)

Hmm, goodpoint!! maybe i should try and get out and lose it before the weekend. Big competition friday (Rory McIlroy Classic) and saturday (Presidents day)

I've not had a ball that has seen a whole round since the GM day at St Pierre and not had many before hand. Naturally I blame the drop in manufacturing standards in the recesiion for making them defective and harder to find

Played in a yellow peril game event at Calcot a few years back. Three ball in front spent 10 minutes talking tactics over who should tee off with it on which hole to get the maximum advantage.

First guy steps up, puts down the yellow ball and promptly hooks it 100 yards out of bounds.

Laugh? I needed gas and air.

I will use the same ball till the covers hanging off it,or it gets lost.I think some people take this game far too seriously.
Please show me proof of a lightly scuffed ball having a detrimental effect on your game ?
