Well, I’ve had a heck of a day…

I played with these three chaps who were as slow as anything, mainly because one was a senior, one was a high handicap player (or a low hcp player , can’t remember) and one was a woman. They did nothing but talk on the tee, mainly about whether the Taylormade XLS was older /newer / longer than the TM Tweekspeed Ultra and how great the custom fitting was. The woman (or maybe she was a junior who didn’t pay as much as me for membership) was a big Tiger woods fan but didn’t want to pay for Sky to be able to watch him. One of the others changed his shoes in the car park, had his shirt partially untucked and didn’t stay to buy a drink in the bar. None of them knew any rules, apart from the senior but all the rules he knew were myths. The high hcp player used a chipper with a Rangers headcover, and ball retriever with a Celtic logo.

what about newbies asking about clubs bags shoes etc,or what ball should i use or what putter should i buy,or a low h/cap player asking what wedge should he buy the list is endless

*Dress code
*Sky golf coverage
*I want to watch the golf on "TV" but not willing to pay for Sky
