C'mon now Birdieman, that's an affront to your average appauling team. Scotland are absolutely rank.....
Anyway, having had time to look at the papers today and look at the other groups it's hard to spot just who the obvious ones are that would progress to the ko stages.
If Engerland don't get too much ahead of themselves, and their players don't get too confident then I think that they've got their best chance sine 1990.
Anyway, whatever happens, the Sun have set the standard for back page headlines with todays effort

Great post Birdieman, and I'd like to reciprocate and say that if England weren't there and Scotland were, I would be rooting for you guys all the way.
It would be a real shame though, if as you say, that it may be rigged for the African teams to win. They wouldn't would they?

What's living here got to do with anything?I hate them and hope they get beat at any sport they play.I am a Scotland fan so why would I ever want them to do well in anything,same as what happens if you are a Celtic fan with Rangers,Newcastle/Sunderland,Holland/Germany etc.

Hate is a strong word. Football isn't that important to hate people over, take each person and judge them as you meet them, no?

I'll be willing the Yanks to win different to supporting em.....not bored,that is my make up take it or leave it,it's no trouble to me

Its not just the Scots that are fed up with the media for thinking England are going to win the World Cup before its even started.As a Englishman thats lived in Scotland for 35 years I hear this anti english thing with the football all the time.Its petty and boring!! Think about your history when your singing Flower of Scotland Its not just about "Edwards Army" the scots have done just as bad to themselves historicly as the English,Time to move on and get over it.Some of my friends will support English club teams in european games but would support any team against the natianal side whers the logic in that.For my part I would always want to see Scotland win be it club or natianal side not that they won much lately

Braveheart was the worst thing that happened to Scottish history. It was a work of fiction, not a historical re-enactment.
There was a statue at the car park for the Wallace Monument which even looked like Mel Gibson !!

But before that Gibson...err I mean Wallace managed to impregante Longshanks gay son's French wife (Sophie Marceau) in a wee but'n'ben somewhere so therefore ensuring that the future King of England was actually Gibson's...sorry Wallace's stock!
