The Open Championship Tickets

I wouldnt mind going to watch this on the friday but have missed the advanced ticket sales, what are the chances of getting in on the day?
I know the tickets on the day are £70 but still fancy going as i reckon it would be a good day.
Also what sort of time would i have to get there?

I think £70 is just a bit too steep, especially when you factor in food/drinks, parking and petrol!im looking at about £200 just for a day!

By the time folk from the likes of Dundee factor in petrol it'll be a lot more than that.

Time for a few more Opens to be held up in Scotland I think.

That is one of the things I was trying to find out mate, is there limited people allowed in or would I be pretty much guaranteed to get in on the day without a ticket?
