The Open Championship 2013 Thread (Hopefully this can be pinned)

Kyle Stanley's had a great start...

Tiger hits two horrors off the first tee. 1st ball found though, now the hard part

Same old story for Rory then, he misses a 3 foot par at 10 and the wheels fall off! With no B game to fall back on he blows up to a 79...
What does Westwood look like
Sergios got a look about him this week, I reckon he's going to go very close.

Bunker sand - looks identical to the stuff we are putting in our rebuilt bunkers and as a sand replacement programme throughout. Soft and deep and difficult. I am watching very carefully how they play their bunker shots.

IP's comment on twitter...

@IanJamesPoulter: Unfortunately the guys this afternoon will struggle with a few pin positions. 8th hole is a joke, 18th needs a windmill & clown face.

Imagine if Tiger or Rory through their club like Schrawtzel just did. We'd have a 1000 post thread on the Forum within minutes.

Lets see how it pans out after the start times are reversed tomorrow. The only guy this afternoon in no trouble is Kapur. Hope Woods keeps this round going. Back to his best after a very indifferent opening shot

Those greens will be back green again in the morning, they'll be flooded tonight but the fairways will still be like a carpark.

Great to see, real golf at it's finest.

Some of these pampered pro's need to man up and Poulter is just a total knobpiece.

Am I the only one that cant stand Ivor Robsons strained and veiled attempts at enthusiasm when he announces the players? He talks like he's rolling round a worthers original while speaking

Love the way the Americans announce their tourneys:thup:
