I wonder if the declining participation has led to it closing down. It was run by Dick Groff(now deceased) and Hans Paul Griesser. I have a very old e-mail address for Hans Paul. I just sent an e-mail.

H-P used to be a member at Hillside (next to Royal Birkdale). He invited me to play with him and Jonty H but I haven't seen him for years.
Bu I agree there have been very few postings on LS recently
