Are wiff waff balls different to ping pong balls ?

What is the difference between ping pong and table tennis? Sky had the world ping pong champs on recently, and the players seemed quite old and not necessarily that good. Might be a sport I could challenge in.

The correct answer is................ as the inside of a ping pong ball is air there is no colour to the inside of a ping pong ball.

However the inside COVER of a ping pong ball could be any colour.

Thats just silly and unbelievable!

We only make table tennis balls in the UK. Ping pong balls are made in China and my new neighbour (who came over on a plane last Friday and due to the fact that he is a fully qualified bean sprout chef and we don't have enough of them, he has jumped to the top of the housing list) tells be that they are pressurised with the farts of fruit bats.

compression is all important and how warm the ball is compared to the outside temperature the friction on the bat the tightness of the net ..
its important if cleaning to wipe the table with a damp cloth and not use furniture polish as this affects the bounce &spin etc ..
