The honour

Do people really get worked up over this? ....

No-ones got worked up, a couple of lipsticks have fallen out of a couple of handbags that's all. :D

P.S Stableford ISN'T Golf so you can do decide how you like, oldest/ tallest/ most hybrids/ longest driver....... :D

Chris, Im with you on this one, whoever is ready at the next tee can go,so speed the game up a bit, theres nothing worse than on the next tee,"its your honour,no its not its yours",just get on with it....

'Fraid the R&A don't agree with you, old chap. The order of play in stableford is described in the Rules of Golf.

Really? There was me playing women and children first.

Amazing what these R&A chaps come up with, almost as good as some "sources" who answer internet questions. :D

I have to agree with jammydodger et al. The wording is NOT ambiguous at all, it is worded in a way that can only mean that you retain the order you teed off on the previous hole if you shared a score on the previous hole.

You are not agreeing with jammydodger. That is not what he said at all. Ironically, it is what I said - if any players tie the hole, the honour does not change.

No, I meant that the players who tied do not change order. Obviously the player(s) with the higher score from the previous whole then go after the better scores...
