There was talk of him getting a few quid in Jan to bolster their efforts for promotion, but he brought 4 in on loan and sent 2 out for zero spend.

Maybe Sunderland doing well this season is giving them hope to save the money for the summer.
Would be good to see Cov back in the premier league, they had some legendary folklore style players back in the day. None more so the Peter Ndlovu, he had some and skills. Also gives us fans of smaller clubs hope that teams like them can come back from the brink and get close to the promised land.

From a personal point of view I’d be happy to see Cov & Boro coming up, always had a soft spot for Cov, best mate at Chepstow was an absolute Coventry nut, I’d never met a Cov fan before him, when we weekends off we’d go home, he’d go wherever they were playing.

And as a kid seeing Ernie Hunt’s goal from Willie Carr’s Donkey kick.😂😂

Boro would be great for a number of reasons.

Boro well beaten tonight by a very physical Coventry team. Stops the momentum we were building. But we go again on Saturday. Still plenty to be resolved at the top of the Championship.

Cov ‘v’ Boro. Last night was a repeat of Coventry’s visit to Middlesbrough earlier in the season. A solid, high press with great shape off the ball. Strong in the tackle and direct with the ball.

Just like the previous match Boro had some decent chances but a draw would have been a mugging, Coventry were far better and reminded me of the job Norwich did on the Boro in the promotion play off final in 2015, bigger, stronger, faster and bossed the game.

So where does that leave the Boro? One point behind Coventry, and five points above third. That Coventry side may well do us a few favours in the run in, and a number of the sides immediately below the Boro will be playing each other. I think Boro’s run in is easier. But it’s a tough division with plenty of games left for all the teams chasing promotion but I feel the Boro are good enough for automatic promotion.

Couple of 6 pointers coming up for Rotherham Utd, starting with Burton away tonight. Minimum of 4 points this week (Saturday is Doncaster) or relegation is a distinct possibility.

A shame to concede deep into injury time but we'll take a point, given Huddesfield lost. Two tough home games in a week and 4 points is good.

Agreed can’t even be annoyed at it as we were so deep at times and almost camped in our own box. I’ll take it and move on it’s a step closer to where we wanna be.

Just so frustrating to do all the hard work, defend well and limit them to no chances of note and then gift them a goal.
Savage's clearance was woeful, Wing then gave away a cheap free kick. JP flaps at the ball, gives away the corner and then makes a huge mistake with the punch from the corner.

If defending was a Carry On film we just nailed the plot !

I thought we may end up losing it to the last free kick just free the goal. I could see it happening again just like from the corner.
