The case for a bigger hole!

I'm a heathen, I use one of those pans with 4 little cups in it but my eggs come out scrummy.

I think there should be a campaign for smaller holes so that you could get 5 eggs in at a time, what do you reckon guys?

I use a pan with 4 cups too. I have 3 and HID just likes one - always on buttered toast ! - perfectamundo!

I would have needed a manhole cover sized hole today and even when I got them online they were too heavy and jumped out, spun out, or just basically said rollox I ain't goin' in

OK, lets stop discussing the discussion.

Any comments on why Poulter and the other bloke had 360 lip outs and what should be done welcome.

They missed the middle of the hole, simples.

It would seem to me that people only moan about lip-outs when it happens on a putt that they think is holeable. What about those that are from 30` away and do it.

More practice from inside 10` I would suggest.

Derek, neither of these putts looked like they were on line both missed the hole. If this represents the case for bigger holes you must be dismissing the other couple of thousand putts that went in?? I have never saw a putt hit the middle of the hole lip out.
It can still jump over the hole! I had one of those the other day that jumped up into the air and stopped one inch directly behind the hole! :(

Maybe pace is your problem or you are just the unluckiest putter on the planet, in the last month you've had horseshoes/lip outs and balls jumping the hole? Can't believe one man could be so unlucky!

Then it's a bad putt, nothing to do with the size of the hole. If the line and pace are correct the putt will go in. If one of those is wrong then the putt will miss. If it hits the hole and jumps over it then you've hit the ball too hard. You seem to want to make the hole bigger so that more bad putts will go in which is quite frankly ridiculous.

All I'm saying is look at how the responses to the thread may look to others looking in?

So what he starts a new thread???

Ignore it.

Simples.

Is posting weather reports and cooking ideas not included in this...oh yeah its only banter...

Anyway Im away to play golf an out of this thread.

Posts that involve flaming or trolling (i.e. deliberately picking fights with other members); what, like the "What's that Skippy?" thread that somebody started to wind up the English rugby fans? And then you come into this to lecture others on their behaviour? Your hypocrisy is unbelievable.
