No denying that Crimbo is just around the corner, what are you wishing is under the tree on the big day? Me, well I'm pretty much pressied up, there is nothing really that I want or need, it gets more difficult the older I get to buy something I do not already have. I'm the big 50 end of this week and cannot think of a single thing I want.

Its nothing out of the ordinary to want nothing. Most of us give and receive so much throughout the year (things other than presents) and have enough useless tat.

With online shopping and other internet sales as well as the modern "must have it now" culture we no longer have a list of things we need as we grow old. I am 27 and I have not wanted anything for years!

This year all I want is time with the wife, living apart is hard work!

HID has offerred to present a new fitted driver. Not rushing to get fitted as I want to enjoy the anticipation...and keep fooling myself that it will transform my game!

I'm in the same boat, I cannot think of a single thing I want.

Probably opt for a few dozen Pro V's

Been like this for at least 10 years, maybe more.
Often end up with stuff I don't really want, just something put on a list to keep people happy.
Honestly, if I'm getting pressies I'd probably prefer the cash - then I can decide what I really want when I know how much I've got.

The problem with golf presents is that there is a lot of useless tat out there and if the giver is not a golfer chances are thats what you end up with! I've always preferred cash that can be towards a useful piece of golfing kit (a bit impersonal I know but I've never been good at fake surprise and wonder) or something non-golfing. I dread to think how many dozen Donnay's are bought as xmas presents - I'd prefer the expired greenfree voucher!

donnays would have been a step up from the dozen refurbed top flites that i was presented with 2 years ago from the in laws. i hate the moment when you've just unwrapped something really keich and the present giver is right there in front of you...
