Be careful and read more than one big tech review. Moto hands down used to be the best budget range for years, but if you read around you will see they have fallen from that mantle. Too many people are having issues. Huawei (such as honor lites) and Xiaomi have taken over that mantle and for good reason.

Put in the homework. They all have strengths and weaknesses and the weaknesses of some may not matter based on your usage and what's important in a phone for you

A lot of suppliers now let you pay it off over 24 months at zero interest (like Tesco)

Yes, and most quotes I’ve got when multiplied by 24 have been more than marching into John Lewis and buying the unlocked handset

Me and the Mrs have had MotoG 1-5+ and not really had any issues. G5+ that I've got is sound as a pound. Decent battery, decent storage, decent phone - mind you, that seems to come well down the list these days...

Bought a G3 (on clearance when the G4 came out).

It was chosen because I do a lot of photos and wanted really good quality and it was highly recommended for that purpose. The only concern I have ever had with the phone though is its camera handling tricks. Adjusting the wheel for scene and exposure correction etc and adjusting the frame size I find very temperamental but it might just be because I seem to be a too good conductor and often get 'mispresses' with electrostatic screens.

The G4.

Well after an awful lot of reading the G4 out plays the G5....just how that works is beyond me. But it is what it is. The g4 will do what I want so I'm going with it. And after I sell my 950 on the bqy i'll get at least half back. So not much outlay.

anyone want any furnituer?
