For under £120?

I've done a bit of Googling and it appears the Moto E5 is right up there. Any other suggestions or shall I go with this?

I don't know the price but I have a Samsung S7 Edge and it is incredibly simple to use. There have been 2 newer models since this one, S8 and S9, so the price should be in your territory.

Even second hand a decent S7 edge would cost £200 to £250.
A second hand Galaxy S6 would probably be in your price range, but if you want new, then go for the Moto.

If you use the camera then my Sony Xperia XZ1 takes cracking photos and can do slow-mo video, if you want to see your swing! As an Android phone it does pretty much everything.

if its as bad as the Moto G5 then dont touch it with a barge pole, slow, eats battery life and couldnt replace it quick enough.

replaced with a Samsung A5 for a couple of hundred and thats been excellent

So E4 - G4 - G4 plus - G5.

Which one? What's the difference? Do thy overheat? Online reviews seem to indicate they do? Leaning to the G4 Plus. Better than G5?

Seen the G4 at £60. Seems a bargin. I only use the phone for the odd google (to stop a row) and FB and a GPS golf app oh and ringing / texting people.

My S6 is now over four years old and the (sealed in so can’t change) battery is fairly rubbish...I’ve refused two years of upgrades as there was not really any increase in functionality. So will have to change soon...buying outright consistently seems cheaper than the monthly contracts...

A lot of suppliers now let you pay it off over 24 months at zero interest (like Tesco)
