Terrible mistake ??????????

Have a nasty feeling that to much Rioja and gumtree don't mix.

Have bought a set of Callaway X tour forged irons for £70 circa 2005 anybody got any views on them, I play of 14 and have just given my TM Burner 2.0 to my son who loves them and the Callaways were an impulse purchase. Haven't hit them yet but read some reviews that says they are for lower hcap players than me.

There not just for low handicapers. Off 14 you'll put a good swing on them anyway. But going from burners to callaway tours your deffo going to notice a lower ball flight. I recon that alone will make you one club longer

Bought a set of these about 18 months ago while playing off 24. I loved them from the first round!
They are easy to hit, are very forgiving, have a ridiculous amount of spin and you will not "grow" out of them for a long time.
The only way I will stop using them is if I get custom fitted for a set of irons and they will be stored properly as a goto set of clubs just in case.
