last friday i got a wee bit lucky after work so decided i wanted some new irons, so i went to my local pro and tried the rsi1 i did kinda get fitted a few days before so went back to see him and got properly fitted and was told that TM are now promising 7 working days turn over on custom orders or they are half price so i i went for it, ordered 5 through to lob wedge and got 5 lessons all in for £750, day 7 arrived and i was wondering what i could spend the extra £300 on, but they kept their word and now a proud owner of very super shiny new irons.

the irons themselves are amazing, look fantastic by the ball and the ball flight is superb I'm a very high handicap player and felt inspired, the distances were uniformed and the ball flight was nice, the wedges offered myself personally more spin than my mac daddy 2 wedges i was pretty surprised by that as well.

obviously as people will see my handicap sucks so this is just my opinion but well done taylormade inspired confidence in me thats my 6 iron shots neatest i have ever hit anything in my life!

What was the issue with them mate ? Did you try other ones before deciding on these ones? Just interested as me having a high h\c as well its always nice to know how you find nrw kit for our sort of level.

when i got fitted on the xhot's i was really new to golf and had a fairly standard swing speed and I'm now not overly convinced i was fitted properly, I'm 6ft 8 and they gave me the longest most upright club they could find, the TM's aren't they are an inch longer 4 degrees upright and noticed i set up differently already. before i went for the rsi i had tried the g25 g30 and titles AP's i was away to order the titleists then my pro got the rsi's in and they just worked for me in a stiff shaft.

also can't wait to get them on the course, depending on weather will try get a few holes in tomorrow just to see whats what
