Taxi !!!

That test looks 'impossible'.

We all can find our local supermarket, or the train station, or the way to work. But who here can seriously say they can describe it turn for turn to someone else, AND name all the roads?

it appears that some of you have grasped the wrong end of the stick ,im sorry if you have misread my posts on this thread but i have said its NOT THE KNOWLEDGE just local council area knowledge,it is still a test of memory and as for the real london cabbies they have my utmost respect for their memories.
i must add that when you look at a coucil area it is quite a bit larger than i first realised and if it wasnt through playing golf and fishing all over the south east i would have struggled to know where a lot of places were,.

... i would have struggled to know where a lot of places were,.

And to make it worse in Sussex, of course every little village is called something-field or something-hurst... I've been in Sussex for (almost) all of my 27 years on this planet and I genuinely have no idea which "hurst" is which!

The Knowledge: The Worlds Toughest Taxi Test.
Anyone just watch this on Channel 4, Fascinating Stuff.
I had no idea Londons Black Cab drivers had to go through all that to get a licence.
I watched that as well.

Some serious nerves going on through the exams.

Looks a tough exam considering you can just get a taxi licence easily if you want to drive for Uber. Seems wrong to me.
