After Smiffy admitting to liking the King of Paedo's, i'm going to throw this one into the hat also....

The wife went to see Take That twice in Sunderland on their Circus tour late last year and absolutely loved them, she then proceeded to buy the DVD and put it on not so long back.

For the first 5 or 10 mins I watched over the top of my laptop but slowly got well into it, and I have to admit I asked her to rewind it so I could see the bits I missed.

Absolute blinding DVD and, as much as I hate to say it, some really good songs in there....and they know certainly know how to put on a show.

Highly recommended!

Fire away.....

I went with the Wife last July to Wembley - what a night!!!! Barlow's songs are superb, the visual spectacle was excellent and the atmosphere electric!!!!

The next time they're live, I'll be there.

Yeah, the wife went with her mate to Sunderland on the Friday and was standing near the front, they loved it that much they came home and got tickets for the Saturday but up in the stands and said the stands were better as they got to see loads of stuff they missed the night before.

I think I may well be in the queue for tickets next time they're on live somewhere near us!

Never been a fan really, but did buy the DVD for wifey at Christmas as she is. When she played the DVD from what I saw thought it was a really good show. And much as I hate to admit it, quite liked some of the songs too.

Have the Take That album in my car and think it is pretty good, certainly easy to listen to when driving.

I just got a CD of The Christians - best of or something similar. Had it on vinyl but no longer have a turntable. Had forgotten how good they are. Worth a listen.

I have pretty eclectic tastes in music but whenever my 9 year old daughter gets in she insists on Lady Gaga or Christina Aguilera.

Could be worse I suppose, she could be into (c)rap.

Oasis @ Murrayfield 2000 and Foo Fighters @ Wembley 2008.

2 best concerts I've been to.

I agree that TT do make some decent music and their stage shows really are a spectacle but for th£70+ per ticket you'd hope they would be. I saw the show on DVD and it is superb though especially the elepahnt. I have TT on my Ipod but definitely draw the line at Westlife or Boyzone

Could be interesting this summer as trying to relive my concert going youth. Is 37 too old to spend 5 days camping at the Download Festival just to see ACDC
