T Shirt Weather

Did anyone else play today?
Got down to the club after my early shift and at one point I nearly peeled off the sweater!!

Last 2 times I played I was combined -7 gross for 24 holes so confidence was high.
Today I was awful,I mean proper army golf,right,left,right.

Just when you think your getting there at this game it bites you on the arse and reminds you, its the boss!!

Nice to feel the weather is on the change though
Snow must be gone down south now surely?

Hah! We had fog/mist until lunchtime and then it rained for the rest of the day. Not too warm either.

Should get better for the weekend.

I hit 90 yesterday as a final prep for the Goswick battle, and tbh, wish I hadn't bothered. The shank has gone, to be replaced by the thin and the fat. Driver was good though.

Think I'll just wing it at the weekend, and see what happens. Trust the old killer instinct and all that.

I got out yesterday for 9 holes and an hours putting practice before hand which paid dividends as I only took 15 putts for those 9 holes I wish I could have played more but the reasonable weather plus a wednesday stapleford had draw out the crowds and from the 10th hole onwards the course was pretty clogged so we walked in.

The weather is even better today with bright sunshine and patches of blue sky but unfortunately I won't be golfing due to work

our course is still closed because it's covered with snow
not that i fancy a round with temperatures round -3 but i hope weather not coming from bavaria, -17 there
