Nice enough contact on the ball, but without seeing the flight its tough isnt it to judge it. I'd hazard a guess this would end up to the right though.

Your right hand looks underneath the club - too much really (not sure if its known as being too weak or strong), but it needs to be more on the top of the shaft. It'll feel very odd to chane but you'd soon get use to it.

Not too bad though is it overall?

Obviously i cannot tell from those shots but the similar ones on the course are a penetrating flight in the middle of the fairway.

Not sure what your concerned about then!

I just wanted to know what others thought and if they could see anything seriously wrong, they could point it out

You have quite a swing there lots of speed maybe ripping it a bit too hard in the net.

But looks great i sure a lad your age will be single figures in a year or so.

Grip is a touch strong leading to a shut face at the top but if you are middle of the fairway who cares

Cool. Glad i hadn't confused this thread and it wasnt a 'hint and tip' for everyone else.

Seriously, there looks to be little wrong with it generally, just the grip (perhaps a tiny bit slouched in posture). But if your middle of the fairway then just leave it.

There are several issues that will sneak up on you if you dont keep an eye on them and I hesitate to mention them as you are currently bombing it down the middle, but.........
Before Smiffy says it first and accuses me of copying
1.Not a great posture at the start it has to be said
Try standing taller

2. If you start bending the ball too much in the air, weaken that right hand.

3.Balance. Did you notice how still and balanced Rory was yesterday at the end of his swings.
Hold your position at the end of the swing.

I thought bob was spot on about the balance, and the posture. I thought that it looked quite a flat swing plane and a little uncontrolled, maybe you were trying to swing too quick but if it works for you then go with it. :D

Thanks bob. I think posture is something that we all seem to forget when we dont get regular lessons

.....and today's lesson is?

Why not get a pro to see you now and again? That's got to be the way forward. :)
