not the best of angles really . for impact issues you could do with filming face on.

if you're filming your swing down the line then the camera could do with being at waist height and set up so the camera is filming down a line through your hands

Agree with region 3... try feeling the ground and power more through your legs and feet... even do it without a club get into a posture position that if someone ran at you would struggle to topple you over then concentrate on rotation. Then try it with a club and try and make the shoulders, arms and hands feel more passive

I think your set up and takeway to the top of the backswing looks balanced and pretty decent. However it all goes wrong in the transition, casting the club out with the shoulders before the hips and torso have started working, cant recover from that position so you get a weak slappy hit and your follow through is cramped.
Somehow got to start the downswing from the ground up, I'd slow it all right down, work on it slowly - hips leading torso leading shoulders then bring it back up to speed.
I'm coming back into golf too and have all kinds of timing and coordination issue going on at practice including casting, I just slow it down and think hips first and the next one goes much better generally.

Look for 'proper sequence in the golf swing'. that should help.

The shot you actually hit looks harder to achieve than getting the ball into the air. Try hitting down on the ball for a start. Don't help it into the air. The speed of the club and loft is designed to get the ball in the air.

This hitting down on the ball to make it go up should at least get you started. Once you are back getting the ball into the air you can worry about distance and direction.

Ok so what i understand from the comments are that I should rotate from the ground up, hit down more on the ball and swing path a bit more in to out?

Definitely too much upper body involvement at the beginning of the downswing (transition)!

It's the easiest way to try to get some oomph going, but is actually the reverse of what should be happening.

For a slightly different way to get the 'ground up' feel, with hips turning and arms swinging without being 'heaved' by the upper body, check Brian Sparks's 'La Danse du Golf' here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eURbeXGkeCU

if circumstances allow get to see a Pro even for initially a 30" lesson as this could be sorted out real quick in regards to better strike & fight

although it seems intuitive advice to folks topping the ball - hit down
even though maybes seems counterintuitive actually 'hitting down' more is not the answer here goin to make stuff more difficult

as you have this swing on youtube - go into the vid setting and change speed to 0.25 then watch the swing through paying real attention to transition - ways easier to see at this speed how the shoulders right shoulder goin out n'over is starting the downswing - watch that a bunch of times then pause the vid just after the downswing starts and notice how steep so near to vertical the shaft is - this is showing you that you already really coming 'down' into the ball pretty steep

out n'over means also swinging leftfield through the ball

coming down little ways steep means instinctively leaning back some on the trailside to avoid just hitting ways fat into ground/mat - case of having to lean back to both avoid the ground and get to the ball but also is subconsciously trying to present a 'squarer' face to get ball somewhere's in the vicinity of target
tendency to pull the arms in to the body with this kinda motion why the follow through is cramped some arms into body no arm extension through ball
all of which means a likelihood of a top by just catching the ball on the top half with the bottom of the club but can also pretty easy socket one also

just to start to get the ball airborne again try the 'stork' drill
with a 7i just goin to make some halfswings taking the club back to just past horizontal to the ground and from there turning through the ball so chest pointing a at left with both arms extended when the arms and club shaft are again around horizontal to the ground -so just putting the ball out some 60 yards and the ball in the air but from the half swing will be a lowish flight

but the rub is how the ball is addressed at step up here
stand to the ball feet around 6" apart with the ball off of the lead big toe (so way more forwards to a norm ball position with an iron - but this remember is just for this drill there is a reason to this so just give it a go)
then draw the right foot right leg backwards till the foot is resting just on the toes)
so whole weight is being supported by the lead leg only - hence "the stork"

what this does is back it pretty much impossible to lean backwards any you'll fall over but also help to stop the right shoulder and arms going out n'over in transition as again you'll just lose balance

if make a few half swings in rehearsal to maintain balance then have a go through the ball hopefully should find you able to make decent contact with the ball and get some flight on it to put it out some 50 or so yards and reasonable straight

this drill helps promote a more center rotation of the upper body so can't lean back off the ball but also to maintain balance you can't throw the club outwards with the arms and right shoulder - having the right foot back on the toes lets you see the space you now have to swing into the back of the ball and turn through and extend the arms

you need to see a good pro really mate. you cant go the range with these things in your head. also, fixing one thing can sometimes cause problems elsewhere. that's what a pro will help you out with.
