Surely these can't be legit?

I saw these in the paper the other week and it said they definantly weren't for competition use. Pretty good idea though!
 
They were brought out some years ago but banned and so they stopped making them for a while, but started again recently.

They're still illegal for competion use but if you can't hit a straight ball to save your life and don't play competitions then why not? Though I wouldn't be happy playing against them in a friendly roll up if 50p was on the line.
 
I think it is sad thatpeople will buy these to mask flaws in their game. I would feel like a cheat even if just practising with one.

Bit harsh considering we all use some sort or game improvement club. You use hybrids which I assume is because you cant get long irons into the air despite the fact they are GI cavity backs?

At the end of the day if you don't have time to practice and just want to enjoy a round then why not? They are probably rubbish feel around the greens so you take the rough with the smooth like all other balls.
