Shame he can't play as the hold up player in Readings preferred line up but as an impact player off the bench he must be the best out there at the moment

Did the same against Newcastle, and West Brom. 5 goals in the last three games coming off the bench. Only English player to score more league goals this season is Theo Walcot. Not bad for £300,000 from Rotherham, but obviously not such good value as Torres.
You are right Martin, he is just a 'fox in the box'. I think I saw some stats that he touches the ball less than any player when on the pitch. His finishing is very clinical though, passes the ball into the net, rather than smashing it like a lot of strikers. Two goals against Chelsea were top draw, and a player that can use both feet.

Yeah, and we did the same against Southampton & Juventus:angry: And do not get me started on Torres. Interesting to see what the spellcheck tries to convert Torres to, didn't know that machines knew so much about football. Still, we'll turn it round soon with the Fat Spanish Waiter at the helm......:smirk:
