Turned up for the comp today at the club and was handed a free Bridgestone Treo Soft to try. Which is nice. Can't tell you what I think of it as I didn't use it! It does look white though! Guess that they're on a marketing push.

the times I've found and used a ProV, I could definitely tell the difference between that and whatever I was using at the time, most especially when putting - like butter.

but I still lose too many to use them on a regular basis, and certainly don't swing fast enough (though that's an odd way to measure the difference - it should be impact power) to use a V1x, plus there are times I get way too much sidespin.

until the day, I'll stick with Srixon soft and Ad333

I don't find the ProV1 that soft, to me it is about right. Srixon soft feel and Wilson DX2 are too soft, and the Srixon Zur series are too hard. I don't like anything too soft, but to me ProV1 and ProV1x are fine.

Don`t you find that when you say "Wilson/Staff" on the first tee people tend to turn away and their shoulders start moving up and down?

have you tried the tx4. i have only tried it in winter conditions but it does not feel a bad ball, and 4 piece as well. look at all the good reports on here about MD gear, also looked as "lower end". keep an open mind and try, you may just get a shock.
