Strange happenings on threads

I opened this thread at home yesterday, there was one response and I added a second. opened it at work today - both gone and neither were in anyway contentious

it's not the first time that I've found that posts made at work don't show at home and vice versa

I think he posted the same thread around 5-6 times, all but one were removed by mods as it was becoming spamtastic. Someone or other had posted in each of them so there was no priority on which one to keep.
