Straighter, although I guess I would be a long hitter anyway.
10 yards is what, one club difference with your second shot. So you'd be hitting a 9 iron instead of an 8 iron. But could be hitting out of the rough, with less spin and control anyway.
I've come to the realisation that if you keep the ball straight and have a good short game you can play pretty close to par. Yes we all want to hit it like the pros do but in reality very few can. So if you want to score well, losing a ball in the rough or going OOB for the sake of one less club for your next shot could ruin your round.
ps my background is a big hitter with very poor accuracy off the tee which has hampered me massively. Keeping it straighter has got be down from 15 to 8
