Hate to say it again Tommo, but I have to agree with you again
Not been on the site much recently but had a look at the Lounge a few minutes ago to find that there are 8 stickies posted today, 7 of which are about dress code, and 6 of those are polls.
With the best will in the world, I can't be ar..., sorry, bothered to read them. (might get my first infraction there) :lol:

It's free and easy content for the magazine- they'll not be moved any time soon I would think.
It would have been better to have adjusted the forum to allow multiple polls within threads or heaven forbid, set up a survey on an external website.
But at the end of the day, it's their site to do with what they want, whether it be messing up a page, banning members, advertising etc etc. If it was a premium i,e, paid-for forum, then there would be more cause to complain.

blimey, there was me thinking that Golf Monthly was a charity and the servers etc pay for them selves. Sorry but one of the benefits of the mag having a forum, is that mike and his team have quick opinion at their disposal for help in editorial content. so you have to scroll a bit further down, that's life, get over it.
