Hi guys. Some of you may have followed my previous post in regards to the problems I have had with my f1.

Two weeks ago I received it back with the promise that it will work as it should. Due to recent weather today was its first outing. The good news is I was not stranded in the car park like the last time. Unfortunately it still has the same problems and for the first time I had to reconnect the battery twice during the 9 holes as it lost power. By the way 9 holes is all I could tolerate due to the problems with the trolley!!!!! I have contacted stewart and made it clear in no uncertain terms that I want a complete refund!!!

Lad at our place had problems with his, replaced a few things on it. Turned out to be the remote control. But dont know if yours has one.Dont know the Stewart range.

Each time it has gone back I have always included the remote incase it has a fault. Supposedly they checked every aspect of the trolley.

It's seems more common, almost over engineered for its own good.

One of the well know players at our club just shelled out £1500 on the one the follows you (may be the same model as the op) was telling everyone in the bar over breaky how smart it was, and straight out the box is lasted 200-300 yards from the car park to practice green before dying. While we all saw the funny side he returned to the van to get his 5year old motocaddy out.

Sometimes simple works!

Ive only ever seen two of these trolleys in the flesh.

One was a who was in front of us one aftenoon and using it for the first time, it broke down on the 6th hole. The other was a visitor, got it out of his car as our group was heading to the 1st tee, he sent it off in front of him by remote, it just stopped in the middle of the car park and wouldn;t budge from there.

Given the cost of the things wouldn't touch one after see that.

To balance the above, I've had a X3 trolley for the past 4 yrs and it has never missed a beat - would not hessitate to replace with a new one at some time but can't foresee an imediate need.

Simon
