There's a musician (rapper) called JME, who isn't of the usual stereotype (don't drink / smoke etc).

He gets stopped a silly amount in London and posts the videos on the YouTubes. If nothing else it just serves as a reminder for him of how many times he' been stopped ...

Me & my mate got pulled on the way to the golf course last Sunday morn at 7:30am & my mate was brethalised for no reason. No conspiracy there.

Was that a regular occurrence for you though? You might feel differently if it was. It comes down to whether people are stopped more frequently because of their ethnicity. In this case he was a black man wearing a baseball cap and driving a white VW Scirocco. The defence rests its case (joking).

Makes more sense of my initial post now.

It makes you wonder what type of country we live in when you see the latest met police action.

The Met have approximately 31,500 full time officers, Surrey have approximately 2,000. Known to the residents as Sorry police; "Sorry we don't deal with that", "Sorry we can't send anybody", etc.

Maybe the actions of the Met should shine a pretty strong light on the actions of GCHQ and the usual comments from above that "those with nothing to hide, have nothing to fear". Living in a near total surveillance state can only be acceptable when you can 100% trust those in positions of power.
