Went to the “Radio 2 Festival in a dayâ€, yesterday and among the acts were Status Quo.
Been a Quo fan since Down Down and PaperPlane came out in the early 70’s, seen them 6 or 7 times over the years, and was gutted when Rick Parfitt passed away nearly 3 years ago.
I reckon most people thought that that was the end of Quo.
Fast forward to yesterday and what a storming set, Richie Malone the new rhythm guitarist has revitalised the entire band, that old energy is back.
Easily the best band on the day although the Westlife legions might disagree
.
Any other bands that have had a new lease of life?
