Met Office website this morning (8.46 Wed) is now calling for 10 degrees at St Andrews Friday and dry, windier though. Lets hope this one is correct!

Today is a glorious day here, finally got the greens cut with pedestrian mowers but the latest weather for Fri (and it is changing quite a bit daily) is for dry in the morning - 2 deg at 9 O'clock (possibility of some white frost) with rain and wind moving in about 12. im gutted for you all, hopefully they have it wrong yet again!

We've had snow lying since 28th December up here in SW Aberdeenhsire so the sight of green grass is enough for me to want to play golf, don't care if it's wet or windy as long as there's no snow lying, that'll do me.
These sandy links at SA drain pretty freely don't they? Surely we'll be on preferred lies too?
