Following on from my other question about what St Andrews course to play, it seems we also have the option to play Kingsbarns.

How would you rate them against each other... what course is more "special"?

:D

For me Kingsbarns is one of the best courses around - as long as the weather is ok it really will stick long in the memory, the layout is fabulous. Will cost you if you're not from a Scottish Club though.

I have played both Jubilee and Kingsbarns, for me Kingsbarns would get the nod.

Kingsbarns good but for me vastly overated/priced.
If your getting them for nowt play Kingsbarns otherwise it's a toss up for which one,Kingsbarns probably the better track but I would be wlling to bet Jubilee will be in better nick and is better Value for money.

we're all three members of Scottish clubs, so we'd get the lower rate. It's for a special birthday treat and i'll gladly pay the money to play a quality course. Want to make sure that the birthday boy has the best possible experience though. He's a member at Craigielaw.
