After booking up for the Old Course and New Course in the annual advance booking way back in September the time has eventually come round. Tomorrow morning at 7am three of us will be aboard a ferry heading for Cairnryan before driving across to St Andrews

None of us have played there before and we are all like kids on Christmas eve.

We have a game on the Jubilee with Euan(golfcitydweller) tomorrow evening and are on the tee at the Old Course on thursday morning at 10.50am and the New Course on friday morning before heading down Ayrshire way where we have a game arranged on saturday with Bill(bogside84) at his track, Irvine Golf Club.

Looking forward to meeting both Euan and Bill and hoping the weather holds for us.

Will report back with full details upon our return.

Anyway im off to bed as i have to get up at 4am

have a good time mate, the weather is looking good for the week on the east coast, was meant to be playing with you on wednesday but had to pass due to family matters. looking forward to meeting you at ballyliffin.

Cheers Steve and shame you couldnt make it tomorrow, Euan was telling me you had to change plans. Looking forward to meeting you as well at Ballyliffin and maybe when im over in Scotland during summer I might get up to your place for a game.

I hope you have a great time. The Old is the one course I'd love to play above any other in the UK just for the history of it.
