My eyes were on i210s but the Srixons are a slightly less expensive but excellent alternative.

Huge old boy have you asked about how forgiving the Hosels are??

Well - as a result of the break from golf my head and body seem to have - at least temporarily - forgotten where the hosel is...not had one for the 3x18s and 3x9s since we got back playingHuge old boy have you asked about how forgiving the Hosels are??
And whilst that continues it seems a good time to get new bats (been promising myself some for a couple of years) and a few lessons to try and cement in place what I am now doing right (or not doing wrong).

I was warned about a week ago on another thread that by even thinking about them - not even on the golf course - brings them back...but no. I have since managed. That said I have 18holes this evening and so we shall seei hope you havn't just jinxed yourself
Srixons are nice looking clubs, have had a think wbout them myself, though to my eye the older ones look nicer, but thats just me. my mate has the 585 and swears by them, and is always telling me they go a club longer than my Mizuno bladesI was warned about a week ago on another thread that by even thinking about them - not even on the golf course - brings them back...but no. My lad plays the Srixon 785's and he loves them. They are a good looking club too.

Well my two-ball tee'd off at 6:10pm but we stopped after 13 holes as it was dragging on. We were behind a slow 3-ball - slow as they were all over the place and getting into all sort of trouble and we had decided to not push them - we are nice and thoughtful see - and were not that bothered about doing 18.
And I didn't hit a single unmentionable
Unfortunately I occasionally overdo my remedy (as I don't really know what I am doing to 'fix' things) and when I do I can hit an absolute stinker fat or smothered...so all is not great. But as my 'remedy' also has had me thinning the occasional shot it was pleasing that I didn't do that either. So slowly, slowly getting somewhere. It is painful mind...and there were some moments when I was wondering why on earth I might think that buying new irons would in any way help or be a good idea when I still mistime irons so badly...

If I was about to take the plunge on a fitting I'd want to be hitting half decently and consistently and so would be looking at a lesson. It doesn't have to be a game changer or to many tweaks but get the strike fixed, hit a few balls to get comfy with it and then go. That way you'll get the best from the session. Certainly what I'd do and my take
