SportsDirect

Sorry but I'm dubious, Nike VR Forged wedge for fifty sheets????

I wouldn't trust it. I may very well be wrong but that's one of these sites that looks tooooooooooo good to be true!

SportsDirect is probably the biggest Sports store in the country, cant exactly see them knocking out dodgy gear im afraid

As I said I may very well be wrong!

I have never heard of sports direct nor have I ever seen them. Simples!

Blimey! Some cracking deals!

I won't be buying for two reasons:

1.) I can't buy anything until Christmas.

2.) Mike Ashley is a cnut and I refuse to give him any money.

I bought a CG15 wedge from there a couple of days ago. At £50 it was the cheapest price on the internet I could find, by a long way. I was a bit surprised that they sold these clubs as its normally Dunlop and Donnay type stuff they sell.

New Nike gear is just about to come out Craw (good looking stuff too), probably clearing the shelves in readiness.

I just bought a VR driver with a Prolaunch Axis shaft upgrade and a "spare" Voodoo to fit in it for £150. :D

cheap yes - however, how do u know what bounce tour getting on that wedge? how do u even know what shaft, reg/stif etc cos ive had a look and i cant see it telling u that on the webstite

The standard shaft in a Cleveland wedge is a Traction in wedge flex. You can only choose the flex if you go for a custom rifle shaft.

I chose the 62st which is standard bounce-12 degree.
It tells you next to the loft whether it is low or standard bounce.

As long as you know what your doing youll know what to ask them

Good value as said before with the Nike, new stuff coming out the Mizunos have been superseeded with the T11

not sure about this deal, i just went into our local sportsdirect, the only golf stuff they sold is Dunlop, no sign of those 50 quid wedges anywhere.....

seems like some great deals. i would love two if this Cleveland wedges.

as I had the misfortune to work at sportsdirect a few years back, it was ok but crap money, the reason the decent golf kit is online & the dunlop is in store is a hell of alot of the decent kit was getting nicked by shoplifters who knew how to remove the security tags, hence my store even stopped having decent golf balls in as they'd vanish quick smart, some of the bigger stores like lilywhites (sportsdirects) flagship store has the better stuff in, none of it is knock off
