Spain

To be fair to Italy they were knackered and then when Motta went off they had no chance. Got the impression that Spain were out to prove a point. They had much greater cutting edge in this game than before. When you think they were missing arguably their best player in David Villa (I know Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Sergio Ramos, Casillas... you could argue the case for any of them) it's seriously scary!!!

It will need either Brazil or Argentina to stop them at the next World Cup because none of the European sides are up to the task

Someone will probably correct me but I think I only saw one E&WPL player on the park last night. Strange that.

You are wrong I'm afraid but it still tells a bleak story. Balotelli and Silva started and Torres (Golden Boot winner) and Mata both came on for Spain.

The real story is how Spain's team is actually made up of two clubs meaning there is an intimate understanding between the players. Especially as three of the Madrid four are defenders/GK AND had Puyol and Villa (both Barcelona) been fit you probably wouldn't have seen Fabregas or Arbeloa start. Del Bosque's favourite sub? Pedro. Guess who he plays for!!!

Spain:
Real Madrid: (Casillas, Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos & Alonso)
Barcelona: (Jordi Alba (just joined), Xavi, Busquets, Pique, Fabregas, Iniesta)
Man City: Silva

Of course.
Sorry I have forgoten the substitutes.

I have my tickets to see Spain at Hampden. £22 for myself and grandson to watch two games including the European Champions.
How come it costs twice as much to watch Hearts.
