I live in Cardiff and am looking to join a club. I work in Newport so anywhere around these parts is in the frame.
As I mentioned in my more general post, I am struggling to make a decision on where to join.
My current preference is Celtic Manor, where I had a really enjoyable chat with a membership rep on Friday. The two courses are obviously a big factor, and if there is ever a year to join Celtic Manor, it is this year with the Ryder Cup (although there are no real privileges for the event). I'm thinking that the club should have a buzz around it, and I really like the Roman Road course (though I am yet to play the Monty).
I'm worried that I don't know much about other South Wales clubs, I've only ever played a handful (Cottrell Park - Button, Parc, Celtic Manor - Roman Road & Twenty Ten, Dewstow, Monmouth), and that there might be a perfect club that I am overlooking.
Can anyone recommend any clubs in the area, or is anyone a member at Celtic Manor?
