So I've found a club!
Styal Golf Club. Only 15 minutes drive from my current gaff, and will be 14 minutes 50 seconds from my new gaff (providing it doesn't fall through *touches wood*) as I'm buying a house literally round the corner from my pals place where I'm renting a room at the moment.
Ridiculously good value memberships for under 30's. As a result there is a lot of members around my age (not that I care about player partners ages), 3 qualifiers a week, and in addition to the 18hole main course there's a par 3 course to run around in an hour if time isn't permitting.
Gutted that I couldn't play in the comp tomorrow morning as I need to throw 3 cards in first, but absolutely buzzing to get going.
I couldn't find much about Styal when I was searching for reviews, but despite being a bit wet it looks a decent course. It's pretty close to the airport but tbh I didn't even notice planes coming in or taking off when I played 9 holes there the other night.
If anyone fancies a game then holla!
