They cored and sanded then overseeded the greens in the last three weeks but they are coming round a bit now. Paul McGinley is due next week to have a look at the changes he is making

Patrick: the place is magic it all runs along the coast so you see the ocean the whole time, not so magic in the wind

Dodger, some of the "new" holes are very modern links but we have some of the original holes dating from 1890ish.

Having played Portnoo the other day I can confirm that the wind from the Atlantic does not make a pleasant addition.

Just back from playing Portsalon at the weekend and took a few pictures to share with everyone. It is an absolutely stunning golf course and I dont think these photos even do it justice! I'll put a full review in the review section.
