Soft Landing

As we are approaching spring/summer time and greens will start to firm up, how can i get the ball to land softly and not bounce through the back of the green?

At the moment i can give it a good hit knowing it will either plug or at least stop quite quick.

It depends what club you are hitting in with. If its a short iron place it in the middle of the stance. Whatever club you are using make sure the grooves are clean otherwise it doesn't matter what you do

Hit a high fade, use a decent ball, use a softer ball.
