sofa's and chippies

I moved into a new flat at the weekend and my corner 2 piece sofa fits in every room but i cant get it into the living room. Now as i'm not on the ground floor i cant take the window out and taking the door frame of is asking for trouble so does anyone know if its possible to take it apart or even just loosen it up to give it lee way as it only not going in by about 2 inches tops.

Any suggestions ?

Just to be sure, you've tried standing it on its end and shuffling it through the door vertically ? That usually works for most sofas I've come across.

iv tried every way possible. its just to wide.

Take the door down it might just give that wee bit you need.

put one side in horizontally at a 45 degree angle and then drop one end whilst lifting the other so the sofa is vertical. PUUUUSH!
