Yep. I am that soldier. Whole new shebang. Cash was available, temptation was strong. Waiting for last piece of the jigsaw, a new big stick that arrives on Wednesday. Got properly fitted. Hasn't as yet turned me in Tiger Woods, but hopefully the girls and the scores are just around the corner:whoo:

Yep lots of ugly blond white women on the way!

Bought a brand new set of Callaway X-22's and an odyssey 2 ball putter. Bought them cause I'm new to golf and wanted a decent set to replace my Dunlop clubs!!

Worth every penny, dropped 11 shots off my previous best score the first time I used them!!

My new irons, firstly because I decided I needed something a little more forgiving and secondly as a treat to myself for saving money by chucking the fags.

Bought a "new" 2nd hand Oban Devotion shaft for my driver.

Not spending a penny at present as I will be the guts of £2k if I get into the Golf Club I've applied to join this year!!!

Callaway Razr x 5-sw to replace the rusting cheapo guff previously in the bag. Straight after this job gonna get Ping G20 driver and gradually replace the rest...

Great bat. Don't think you'll be disappointed in the G20.

I was planning on a new set of irons, that is why I got some second hand MP33's in September, to give blades a run for the winter before I choose whether to get some blades or player cavities. But I will not be bothering now as the MP33's are so nice I do not see the point of getting a new set.

So I have just purchased and Odyssey 2-ball white ice putter.

I bought a Titleist 913D2 to replace my 910D2. I got 3-4mph more ball speed with the new driver and shaft and less spin so it was a no brainer for me to change being as I had credit in my club pro shop. I'd like the 913FD 3 wood to go with it but I'll have to wait until I've got some more money in my account until I get one.

New 3 wood and putter arrived this week. Itching to get out on the course. Bought to replace the ones I was using from the beginners set I had. Hopefully a few more additions in the near future as well.

My new additions are a Nike Unitized putter and an Adams OS 17* hybrid.

The putter is a move away from my TM Ghost mallet which I was finding distance control tough with on quicker greens. I needed it for alignment when I first started getting serious but I feel that's no longer a major issue.

The hybrid is to add some distance and versatility in the top end of the bag, my 3W and I aren't best friends and I wanted a more consistent club.

New additions since the good weather are......... Everything except the irons and putter

New Ogio sultan bag - old one was on its last threads
New iCart trolley in white - old trolley was from the dawn of man and god only knows how it kept going
New Driver - the nike I used before had the most annoying noise when the ball come off the face and was sold as at the time I wasn't using a driver on the course
3 wood and hybrid - just to match the driver
Wedges - a deal I couldn't refuse - sold 2 wilson s and replaced with 3 TM's for almost the same cost

A few new shafts just because of a case of gibboitis, and a vp1 milled Cleveland putter, that's it.

Depending on the next two round depends what shafts stay put and which go, but that's my bag finally settled,

Only changes may be the odd shaft swap here and there in my quest for a lower flight

Word is the new Rocketbladez Tour are in my local range. Wanted to see these and see what the fuss is about. Not a fan of the standard model but the Tour is a smaller head, thinner top line and by all account less cranked up loft wise. If I can get over this D&V and get out the house I might give these a bash tomorrow. Working on the principle that I am a TM gear whore so if I dont get on with these then we can go through the shopping list (Cally, Mizzy and Ping as starters)
