New Callaway Xhot Shineys

Well finally did the deed today and brought some new Xhot irons replacing my TM r11`s
Also thought in for a penny in for a pound ! may as well trade in my 3wood & hybrid,all to match my driver I brought a few weeks ago

Just have t wait for the hybrid to be delivered in store as they were out of stock,

and with Callaway at the moment they chuck in a FREE wedge so have gone for the 50deg, and lastly managed to get them to add a new glove !!

Have been thinking of the hybrid or a 3 or 5 wood.

How are these clubs are they light like the driver?

Picked up my friends 825 driver and it did feel quite heavy compared to my X Hot driver (it was the lightness which sold it to me)

I have light shafts in my irons too and a light driver and prefer a lighter club so am thinking of giving these a hit.

Are the x hot irons not a good deal chunkier than the R11 irons? I like the look of the woods too and as has been asked what is that hybrid/long iron thing?m

It's basically Cally's version of the MP Fli Hi or the H4 as it now is.
A "better Player" long iron replacement - ugly looking thing but I think Ernie had 2 in the bag when he won the Open last year....

In the market at the moment for new irons myself and tried the callaway hot pro irons yesterday. Abs gorgeous club and easy enough to hit. Great looking too and im not an overly huge fan of callaway! Enjoy ur new shineys!

Still waiting on my X hot driver to arrive. Finally I order something from the club pro instead of hunting for online bargains, and then 3 days later 2 online retailers are offering the driver at the same price with a free hybrid thrown in.

Just done exactly the same, I ordered the irons custom fitted and got them a month later but wow fantastic irons so this morning while the wife was sleeping nipped to AG and bought the driver with free hybrid for £199 great feeling driver and I reckon I could happily hit the hybrid as well never used one before, now I need a 3 wood and some wedges and that's my callaway collection complete

The hybrid well for me anyway goes like stink I only tried quick on a 220 yard par 3 my 4 iron was consistently short of the green but 2 out of 5 of the hybrid overshot it really need to get a 3 wood
